To qualify for the final shootoff, archers must shoot either Fall Freeze or Rumble Royale, & they must shoot Snowball Shootout. If an archer shoots all three, their lowest score will be dropped for ranking purposes. The Shootoff eliminations will occur after the conclusion of Snowball Shootout. 

The top 16 archers from each bow division type (compound freestyle, bowhunter, recurve,  barebow) will compete in elimination matches to determine the 2027 Northeast Winter Indoor Series Champions. 

Ranking will be done by score percentage (eg, a score of 290/300 is 96.67%) of the archer’s top two scores throughout the series. If an archer qualifies, but cannot attend the shootoff, then the next highest ranked archer will qualify. 

If there are fewer than 16 eligible archers in any bow division, matches will continue with higher ranked archers receiving a “bye.” Archers may still shoot their target during their bye round, following the time and clock for matches. No time will be allotted for equipment failure & the archer will forfeit any unshot arrows. 

The shootoff will be shot on Vegas style targets. All compound archers will shoot the 3-spot target face. Recurve & Barebow archers can choose a single spot or 3-spot & may not switch between types. Scoring will be cumulative for all classes.  The X will score as 11 points. In the case of a tie score, a single arrow, closest to center shoot off will take place. 

The eliminations will be held in a two-round bracket(1 vs 16, 2 vs 15, etc. Then 1 vs 8, etc.) and then re-ranked 1-4 to shoot in a ‘shoot-up’ style: 4 vs 3, winner vs 2, etc. There will be no official practice-ends prior to the shootoff, or between matches. 

The bracket shootoff will be a single match consisting of 4 ends of 3 arrows with 120 seconds on the clock. The shoot-up matches will consist of a single match of 4 ends of 3 arrows, alternating archers with each archer having a 30 second clock to shoot each arrow.
